Meet Trevor Bryan


Trevor Bryan is a fierce arts education advocate who believes that great arts education can help all students engage and develop the skills they need for their future. Among his experiences as a teacher in classroom and museum settings, he adds author to his list of accomplishments with his first book The Art of Comprehension: Exploring Visual Texts to Foster Comprehension, Conversation, and Confidence, along with Four O'Clock Faculty, his blog dedicated to educators looking to improve learning for themselves and their students. 

Trevor currently lives in New Jersey with his wife Laura and their two young children.  


Trevor's Professional Achievements: 


  • Graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Hartwick College 
  • 20 years as an arts educator in the state of New Jersey
  • Author of an educational guide for the Princeton University Art Museum 
  • Author of The Art of Comprehension: Exploring Visual Texts to Foster Student Comprehension, Conversation, and Confidence
  • Co-Founder of Four O'Clock Faculty
